About

I’m an avid wine drinker that enjoys traveling with friends through wine country, visiting wineries, tasting wines from large and boutique wineries, as well as enjoying the food and culture of each wine region.

I most recently became a free agent (LinkedIn) after helping professional vacation rental managers around the world build their business model from a traditional phone call reservation system to  fully functional SaaS ecommerce solution with  real time calendars, operation management, a true end to end booking solution for VRM’s.  Prior to this  I was managing the sales management and business development of a start-up social network leisure travel site.

Working in the Vacation Rental industry I discovered a huge emerging market that will transform over the next several years into one of the most popular spaces in the travel industry.   So much so Hotels and resorts are trying to mimic the offerings of a vacation rental. You will see more featured winecation stories that highlight vacation rentals in wine country.

In combining my travel industry experience and my passion for wine I am a self a proclaimed winecation expert.

Do you have bucket list?  I have several regions highlighted as I have been there and would love to return ( This list will never be done).  I have traveled to Italy and have tasted wines on Amalfi Coast, Tuscany, Piedmonte, and the Cinque Terra.  We have traveled to Australia and have tasted fantastic Shiraz from Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills, and McLaren Vail.  In the US we have winecationed in Napa and Sonoma, and hopped our way thru Pinot Country in Oregon.  But it is in Washington State where I love to winecation.  Whether it is for a day or a weekend or an entire week, Washington Wine Country offers tremendous adventure options for a wine vacation.
