A two hour Winecation

I have the luxury of living in Woodinville Wine Country and with Isenhower Cellars having just opened their second wine tasting room here in Woodinville next to Silverlake Winery. I took the opportunity to take a few friends around for a 2-hour Winecation and to pick up our Wine Club shipments from a couple wineries.
Isenhower’s build out of the space is still in the final stages but that did not stop us from enjoying some the best value wines in the state. While Denise was unwraping pictures and putting her touches on the interior we were being taken care by her great staff pouring our wines.

  • We loved the “The Road Less Traveled” Cab Franc
  • “The Batchelors Button” Cab Sav was the bomb, explodes with flavor and just begs for some red meat.
  • (Note they will be sharing this space with Maison Bleue from Prosser) So we will be back soon:)

Next stop Alexandia Nicole Cellars in the Woodinville warehouse district. As a wine club member we scooted back to the members only area and tasted some great wine. If you have not been here it is a must. ANC’s wine clubs have the best perks.

  • Sheppards Mark always a winner and did not disappoint.
  • Quarry Butte my favorite teen$ager wine.
  • Jarrod rocks the Syrah like nobody’s business.
  • A great way to fill a couple hours on the weekend blending wine tasting with a little travel, and great friends.
    Get out and Winecation!
    Cheers
    Rich
